Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to read this website, whatever device, setting or assistive technology they use.

What you can do on this site

• Zoom in up to 400% without text being cut off or needing to scroll sideways.
• Move through every link and button with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip to content link.
• Use a screen reader: all content is real text, headings are in order, and decorative animation is hidden from assistive technology.
• Turn off motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll animations, the 3D film and the page wipes switch off and every section is shown in full.
• Read text in colours chosen to meet contrast guidance, on plain backgrounds rather than over images.

Standard

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement is based on my own review of the site.

Known limitations

• The 3D skeleton film on the home page and the shapes in the story are decorative. Everything they illustrate is also written out as text beside them.
• Some content appears as you scroll. If you prefer it all at once, turn on reduced motion in your device settings.
• The downloadable CVs are PDFs designed for printing. If you need a CV in another format, such as plain text or a Word document, please ask.
